Jennifer Abubakar Abena’s village is in a corrupt region of this country. When we interviewed her, she said “I want to reduce the level of corruption that our local community as to undergo. The police take bribes, there are gangs and inter-community warfare, it is time we put an end to this. I set up the charity to help the local people to have access to clean drinking water and the little school at the edge of the village will give access for every child to have an education.”
Initially her small village looks like any other poor town in this African region. Yet, when inspected more closely, one might notice the new school building on the outskirts of the village. A brand new water pump has also been installed, to give the local villagers fresh water.
Jennifer Abubakar Abena, a 28 year old, is responsible, along with her father, for all those changes. She has become enormously renowned in the area for her unfaltering charity work, where she hopes to change the quality of life for the
villagers.
Together with her father, she has raised in excess of $10,000 to fund fresh water projects to every village. Her prospects for the future will be directed at the entire region. Jennifer intends to make certain that every village has equal access to fresh, clean drinking water and education.
The local hospital is dangerously very understaffed and under-equipped. Abubakar Abena says that her charity work will help to fund every region with all the necessities they need for a cleaner lifestyle. Her funds have recently equipped the hospital with a new supply of much needed medicines and vaccines.
